CASA GEMINI
Casa Gemini is a residential intervention focused on entry and façade design, developed for an elderly couple who chose to replace their former garage with a garden space. Motivated by their peaceful lifestyle and the proximity of their relatives, this decision enabled a proposal rooted in intimacy, warmth, and nature.
The entrance is organised through a stepping stone path flanked by native vegetation and lavender, guiding visitors toward a carefully articulated façade. A white-painted brick wall frames a composition of volumes, where a large central void reveals a secondary wall in natural red brick. This contrast creates spatial depth and material richness at the threshold.
A blue main door serves as a focal point, harmonising with the lavender tones of the surrounding landscape. At the heart of the entry, an orange tree is intended to be planted—symbolising life, hospitality, and rootedness. The overall composition seeks to convey calmness, identity, and a gentle dialogue between architecture and landscape.
