CASA VIRGILIO
Casa Virgilio is one of my first built projects. It involved the renovation and extension of a 1980s home, aiming to redefine its architectural identity through a contemporary, sober, and light-filled approach.
At the request of the new owner, all original ornamental features were removed in favour of a cleaner and more modern aesthetic. This allowed for a full reconfiguration of the façade and interior spaces to enhance natural light and achieve a more refined spatial composition.
The intervention included the complete redesign of key areas: four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living and dining rooms, kitchen, courtyard, rooftop garden, service area, and garage. The new façade features clean volumes, minimal lines, and a neutral palette that highlights geometry and light without decorative excess.
