VILLA DEL ALBA
Villa del Alba is a façade concept designed for a single-family home located within a residential estate in Altozano, Morelia. The brief called for a visually appealing and expressive front elevation, without the use of a solid gate, allowing greater freedom in the volumetric composition.
Inspired by the mid-century architecture of Palm Springs, California, the design features two main white volumes — one larger than the other — with timber accents highlighting the entry door and planter. The planter incorporates ornamental cacti, selected for their visual presence and low maintenance, helping to maintain a clean and uncluttered façade.
A grey stone staircase frames the main access, extending onto the driveway surface. On the upper floor, a wide window is interrupted by a safety balustrade, enabling the room to function as an open-air terrace.
