The main goal of this exercise was to find a mechanism that could reduce the temperature inside the roof over the worktable area of the Faculty of Architecture at U.M.S.N.H.
All this was achieved through an iterative process where the main goal was to create a single piece that could generate a complex structure on its own, without the need for rivets, adhesives, or any other connection system between the parts.
The piece, developed through an iterative process, is presented as a simple prototype capable of interlocking like a fabric that adapts to the surface it covers, creating a spectrum of shadows underneath while simultaneously generating airflow between the pieces. This promotes thermal exchange that prevents overheating inside.
