TFA
TFA is a parametric façade study developed as part of the Master's in Advanced Design. The goal was to create a generative definition capable of panelising a surface through an engaging, adaptable and structurally self-supporting geometric system.
The result is a wave-like architectural skin composed of interconnected hexagonal modules. Each module features a central spherical void, with variable diameter controlled by parameters, generating a visually dynamic yet coherent pattern. One of the key qualities of the system is its structural autonomy: due to its form, no additional substructure is required.
The proposed material is corten steel, widely used in landscape architecture for its durability and weather-resistant properties. Its earthy tone and natural texture allow the façade to blend harmoniously into a variety of urban contexts.
